Keisha Chante to play Aaliyah in a movie

There have always been rumors that there doing a movie on Aaliyah ever since she tragically lost her life in a plane crash 7 years ago, Now they finally got the go ahead and will start to shoot the movie with Canadian Rnb singing playing the lead role... Aaliyah.

The 19 year old singer announced it a few days ago on New York radio station Hot 97.

Some blogs are already saying that they should get someone with more experience in acting, so it is hard to tell if she is the right person for the role or not.

We will just have to wait and see and make sure she makes Aaliyah proud.

I was kinda thinking Alica Keys would be a bit better for the role but anyways..
