Ashanti has joined the list of singers who are getting dropped from there record label or leaving there record label to go independantly, well most of them are getting dropped (Record labels are dropping all the less profitable artists - recession) while others are sick of getting a few cent for every sale when they can be earning most of the profit for each sale, but anyways...
Ashanti has just shot her album artwork over in Paris with famed photographer
Alix Malka, The new album will be released independently via her own company which she set up (Written Entertainment).
Ashanti joined Twitter on New Years Eve and has told fans that the album will drop soon in 2010.
