OFFICIAL UK MUSIC CHART (7 DEC)



This week in the UK music charts Peter Kay's Animated All Star Band has topped the UK singles chart for the second week running. Rihanna climbed to #2 with Russian Roulette after her performance on X-Factor last weekend, Alicia Keys debuted at #8 with her new single 'Don't Mean Anything',

Wow Alicia Keys and Rihanna are doing alot better in UK, there singles both flopped in the US so I bet they will be excited this week to have a top 10 Uk hit.

Over on the album chart Susan Boyle held onto the number one position and the numbers were as big as they were last week, she has now sold over 700,000 copys in 2 weeks!

Take That's live album The Greatest Day - The Circus Live debuted at #3 It is the fastest-selling live album since 1994, shifting over 123,000 copys. Meanwhile, Westlife earnt their 12th top ten album with Where We Are, which charted at #2.

This week the US latest music chart has not changed much, just a few songs moving up or down a few places, Jay-Z and Alicia Keys are still at #1 for the third week with 'Empire State of mind', Black eyed peas are the only newcommers into the top 10 with 'Meet me Halfway'

Outside the top 10.. Shakira jumped from 60 to 29 while Lady Gaga and BeyoncĂ© score the highest new entry of the week after debuting at 30 with 'Telephone'

Beyonce  Sasha Fierce won the battle with 5.2 million viewers while Paul McCartney pulled in 4.7 million viewers.
