Jay-z to quit Def-Jam

Jay-z announced he will quit being President of Def-Jam the company he signed rtist to such as Ne-Yo and Rihanna.

Jay-z retired 3 years ago but came out of retirement again and signed another 3 year contract, his 3 years will be up the end of December.

Andy 'L.A.' Reid, Island Def Jam Music Group chairman and CEO, said: "While he will continue to be one of our signature artists, he will nonetheless be missed in this executive capacity.”
