Junnifer Hudson lands new movie role as Winnie Mandela
Jennifer Hudson has landed herself the leading role of Nelson Mandela’s ex-wife 'Winnie Mandela'. The biopic will be centred around the controversial life of the former South African first lady.
The movie will be shot in South Africa in May by director Darrell J. Roodt, a veteran South African filmmaker.
“I was compelled and moved when I read the script,” Hudson said. “Winnie Mandela is a complex and extraordinary woman and I’m honored to be the actress asked to portray her. This is a powerful part of history that should be told.”
It’s gonna be another hit for and another career defining moment. She will need to make some space on her mantelpiece for the Oscar!

This is triible news, its discusting.. The same day Jennifer Hudson's mother and brother were murdered her 7 year old nephew was kidnapped, hasnt been seen since..
but..
there have just found his body (dead) 14 miles away from the crime scene.
The poor family, I cannot amagine how they feel. They will NEVER get over this.
Jennifer Hudson's mother & brother murdered / nephew missing
The mother and brother of Academy Award-winning actress Jennifer Hudson were reportedly found dead in Chicago around 3PM Friday. (thats only a hour ago)
The two adults were found fatally shot — Darnell, 57, and older brother Jason. The bodies were discovered by a cousin who lived nearby. Jennifer is currently en route to Chicago.
UPDATE: An AMBER Alert has been issued for Jennifer’s Hudson’s seven year old nephew, Julian King, who has just gone missing.Authorities were looking for a 1994 white Chevrolet Suburban missing from the area.
I cannot amagine how Jennifer feels right now, I am really sad even thinking about it.
