Today at the The Palm Springs International Film Festival, Mariah Carey won Breakthrough Performance Award for her role in Precious,

I really cant wait to see this movie, It looks brilliant, but really sad! Ill probably be crying through it!

I think this will be first of many awards for Mariah and all the Precious crew as it is buzzing for the Oscars/Golden Globes this year.

In other Mariah news, She is currently in London promoting her brand new album Memoirs, what was released today along with Lady Gaga, Rihanna and Susan Boyle who also dropped new albums.
