Was on my way with my buddy to drop some good folk off at the airport. Having a dandy time listening good mursic. Then the van starts smokn, Like realllyyyy smokn. So. We jump out. Shits looking like it's gonna blow up. So the good folks (actually the band,The XX) hop in a taxi..And we call a tow truck.Found a towel in the van and sat it out on the sidewalk, took of my shoes & was just chilln. It tWas actually nice.

At least 5 people have double turned they're heads&mouthed "is that solange"?!1girl actually screamed out "solange is sittn on the corner"!
I now realize. This does look crackish. Me sitting on a sidewalk corner, graffiti brick background, no shoes... With a Chanel bag????

Yay! Mr tow truck man! U saved the day! That was fun. My Buddy however isn't laughing.

Solange passes out on a plane!

Yesturday some of you might of been on Twitter following Solange since she was posting every few minutes on her plane trip to New York, Solange took some NyQuil tablets for the flu.. but had a allergic reaction and was telling us all instead of someone on board!

Here is what Solange was saying:

“I took a nyquil and i think maybe im getting high off it because im not sleeping. maybe i should close my eyes…”

“think im certified loosing (sic) it on nyquil. going to sleep before i start freestyling on the plane… omg (Oh my God) i didnt know nyquil could do this to you. i took the pills tho. cant stomach cough syrup. trying to be proactive on this flight.”

“Never taking nyquil again. I feel so weird.”

Three hour break.

“Woaah…… How’d I end up in the hospital? Woke up to 8 random people over me, laid out on the floor in baggage claim!… Guess I passed out! Scary. Hooked up to IV now . Apparantly I’m super dehydrated. I’ve never passed out before. S**t was like the movies. People standing over me saying ‘hello’… My mom is the best. LOL (laugh out loud). She’s like ‘Ain’t nothing wrong with this girl, she need some water and rest… Pull up the car!’ LOL. I’m like still in shock. I’ve never passed out before. Think it was the nyquil too. I felt weird when I woke up. This has been the day from hell. I’m done with the second IV. I just want to get in the bed and lay with (son) Julez. That’s all I want.

It has now became a matter of honesty for me. I needed to find out for MYSELF, if I should have done things differently.

If its one thing I can apologize for, it is for backing down and giving in.

I told my mgt/ label when we got requests from the Fox News stations,
that I didn't want to be apart of anything related to Fox News because of their history of racial slander.
In the end, I committed anyways.

I apologize for not wanting to be controversial, for being lazy and
not wanting to fight a battle with an army. I apologize for
compromising my morality in the process.

I spent about an hour today looking at You Tube clips for guidance
I looked at Nas's speech in front of Fox's headquarters , I looked at
Kanye's Katrina comments, I looked at my fave Bob Dylan documentary. I
looked at countless Bjork interviews (I also looked at the link
below, an all time fave lol

I was completely inspired again to see artists who risk validation
from peoples opinions, for what they truly believe is right.
I tip my hat to you ALL.
(I must admit, it is not sooo much Dylan's voice I love as much as it is his movement)


If I was in corporate America with a position at a large company and someone brought up something completely inappropriate about my family in a board meeting, I would have spoken up and said... "I think that was very unprofessional and please do not bring up my family in this meeting". This is exactly what I said.

Bottom line. Fox is lying and the whole thing was set-up for its on purposes.
Just know that FOX and Tmz are affiliates and you hear the reporter loud and clear say "Are you talking about whats on TMZ"?
If you haven't seen my vlog, before we went on air, I caught the
producers telling the reporter to "Ask her about Jay-z's club getting shut down" Which isn't true ,and that's where my reaction came from.
(It is not my job to dish personal details about my family and its offensive to even ask me in my opinion)

It is more sad to see my "rant" is more popular on your network's show than the news of The Republican Presidential Nominee's V.P. choice.
oh yeah, I forgot people go to real NEWS stations for NEWS Or is this the state of our people now? More interested in the details of this interview than the Monsoon in India.


I mean, I'm not Surprised when this is coming same network affiliate who called our future first lady, a
"Baby Momma".

I love the new music that your doing and I love Sandcastle Disco. The video is so lively and artistic. Can you tell me where the concept of the song
and video came from?



The concept of the song is an analogy.
Coming from a couple failed relationships, sometimes you can become
very fragile going into the next one. People spend so much time and
effort building this beautiful, intricate sandcastle and people just
stomp em down (break your heart) or the wind just comes and blows it
away (its just time to move on).
THe video was supposed to just be a fun, fantasy pop-up book. I wanted
to show my fun, quirky, light side in a performance video.

Here's the thing. I really dont take interviews that seriously which
is why I wanted to use this as a platform for you guys to get real
answers. You know why, because I know the intent from you guys is pure
support. Sometimes I have 7 and 8 interviews back to back and most of
the time they ask stupid questions and i give stupid answers. In order
to keep myself awake and entertained and even interested i make jokes,
say random things, and thats how i get through. Many of the interviews
are not original, creative and dont tell the readers anything they
dont already know. Some of them are fun, interesting and those are fun
for me.

Me and B dont fuss or fight. We are 5 years apart and both have a
mature way of communicating. We also rarely disagree because were
perfect little princess (joke:)

In this journey I have been so blessed to come across many faces and

acceptance of who he was.

This past weekend, Solange performed at in the House of Blues Sunset,
Solange wore an Armani outfit during her performance.
